ACCOUNTABILITY
Public
support is critical to fulfill the mission of the
Marsh Children's Home/Hogar Infantil Marsh.
We have never received any government support since
Eduardo Castañon
and Jovita Godinez
started Marsh Children's Home. As
a non-profit, we are dependent on resources voluntarily
provided to assist children in need. We are committed
to accountability both to the children we serve and
to our donors.
Every effort is made to minimize overhead and maximize
efficiency so that we make the most of every
dollar we receive. Our administrative personnel
are funded by private donations, and our Board
of Directors does not receive a salary, nor do
they benefit financially in any way. In fiscal years
2000 - 2006, virtually all of Marsh Children's
Home public revenue was used for services
and programs that directly benefit the children, substantially
surpassing guidelines established by leading
charity watchdog groups.
From initial planning to actual delivery of services
to children, Marsh Children's Home Inc.
monitors and evaluates spending to ensure that much-needed
benefits effectively reach the children. We are acutely
aware of our stewardship of your generous donations
for the benefit of the children. Thank-you
for your continued support!
