DONATE
The
Marsh Children's Home accepts donations of
almost any kind. Donations that are the most useful
are staples such as milk (long shelf-life); dried
goods (canned food items such as rice, beans, cooking
oil, sugar and honey); clothing; shoes and tennis
shoes; and schools supplies (notebooks, pencils, pens,
and backpacks). Basically, we will take just about
anything you are willing to donate. If we cannot use
a particular item, we store those items and periodically
have "garage sales" to raise money for the
children. These items are sold for about 10 cents
on the dollar value and greatly benefit the surrounding
communities.
However, financial
donations are always greatly appreciated. We use
your cash donations and sponsorship dollars to provide
the items that the children need on a daily basis;
diesel for our school bus; gasoline for our truck,
propane for cooking; and to pay our utility bills
- electricity and water - to maintain the daily operations
of the Marsh Children's Home.
