is a Marsh
Ambassador™?
A Marsh Ambassador™ is a person
who is actively involved in promoting The Marsh Children's
Home and striving to enrich the lives of the children
at this incredible institution.
Who can become a
Marsh
Ambassador™?
Anyone who wants! If you are willing to dedicate a
minimum of 6 hours a week to promote The Marsh Children's
Home and create a better future for our children,
we want you to Get Involved!
What
are the duties of a
Marsh
Ambassador™
? Your
duties will depend on how you wish to help. We want
this to be as fun and exciting for you as it is rewarding.
Here is a list of a few of the things you can do as
a Marsh Ambassador™: Fund-raising
campaigns; Letter-writing campaigns, E-mail campaigns,
Sponsorship Solicitation, Collect Donations, Distribute
our E-Brochure, Start an Internet Link-Building Campaign
for our new website.
What
are the different types of Marsh
Ambassadors™
? We
have created five different classifications of Marsh
Ambassadors™ with examples of what each type
can do for the children. Which
one will you become?
1. Marsh Ambassador - Foot Soldier™: Collects
donations for the kids such
as
books, educational and children's DVD's, school supplies.
Searches for Child Sponsors and / or cash donations
within you family members, friends, neighbors and
co-workers.
2.
Marsh Ambassador - Computer
Compadre™: Helps
us to build hyper-links to our website from Church
Groups, Businesses and Non-Profit Orgainizations.
Distibutues our E-Brochure to individuals and groups
within their online communities.
3.
Marsh Ambassador - Social
Butterfly™:
Organizes luncheons or social gatherings to solicit
financial donations and / or Child Sponsors. Throws
a "Marsh Party" with his or her fiends,
offering donated items to sell raffle tickets to raise
money for the children at the Marsh Home.
4.
Marsh Ambassador - Executive
Officer™: Organizes fund-raising
golf-tournaments to collection financial contributions;
Collects financial donations from employees, co-workers,
family & friends, or members of his or her church.
Develops a "network" of Child Sponsors within
his or her community of employees, co-workers, friends
& family and / or church fellows.
5.
Marsh Ambassador - Wordsmith™:
Writes articles about the Marsh Home
and helps to get them published in magazines, local
newpapers, school newspapers, church newletters. Organizes
e-mail letter writing campaigns and distributes them
to friends, family members and co-workers.
