In October 2015, Gary Norton, owner of Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho, sent stunt actor "Marshal Jack" to Acapulco to get to know the kids at the Marsh Children's Home.
At Silverwood Theme Park, the passenger train that circles the park is "held up" by some bandits. "Marshal Jack" rides in and and saves the day. He retrieves the bag of "stolen loot" from the "bandidos" and announces to the passengers that the money will be donated to the Marsh Children's Home in Acapulco.
All of this is done with a great sense of humor. The passengers are informed of the possibility that they might run into some "bandits" on the train ride, and may even be "held-up" on the train. They are also informed that all "stolen" money will benefit the 80+ kids from Hogar Infantil Marsh in Acapulco, and that their "donation" will be greatly appreciated.
"Marshal Jack" brought with him coloring books for all of the Children, along with four desperately needed new washing machines for the Marsh Home. Mr. Norton has generously announced that he will guarantee $2,000 dollars per month minimum, to help support the Children at the Marsh Home.
We give very Special Thanks to Gary Norton, "Marshal Jack" and all of the good folks at Silverwood Theme Park for Joining Us in helping the kids. They are truly and inspiration to all of us and a tremendous blessing to the Children. Thanks again, Jack!
