"Tía Samia" is originally from Egypt, Africa. She arrived at the Marsh Children's Home one year ago, to stay for just two weeks; she wound up staying for six months.
On September 15, 2007, she returned to be with us indefinitely and now is an important member of the Marsh Home family. Her desire is to stay with us at the Marsh Home, to give love and to help the children be responsible in their schoolwork, and reinforce to them the need for proper decorum and cleanliness.
Samia loves to support the children in many different areas as well, such as sewing and knitting, and to help them learn other things about life that they aren't taught in school. |
