Over the years since its inception, the Marsh Children's Home has been blessed by the generosity of many organizations and individuals that have allowed us to continue to grow and expand our operations in order to help more children in need.
We have had scores of volunteers helping with minor maintenance, such a electrical, plumbing, painting, and just general cleanup. Additionally we have had the exceptional participation of teachers and church groups helping out with lessons in English, math, cooking, computer skills, dancing, crafts, sewing, bible studies and helping the children with school studies and homework.
If you are in Acapulco and have a skill and the time to share it with our children, please contact us.
In this section, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all that have helped us grow into what we are today. To us, these volunteers are OUR HEROES!
We are especially grateful for the countless hours contributed over the years by the U.S. Navy & U.S. Coast Guard and the Mexican Navy. Without the kindness, generosity and self-sacrifice of these men and women in uniform, we would have never been able to increase our capacity to house, feed and care for 80+ wonderful children. |
