Achievement is one of the Four Principles at the Marsh Children's Home. All of the Children at the Marsh Home attend school and are expected to keep up with their homework in the evenings after completing their afternoon chores. The children are taught the value of a good education and the importance of studying hard in order to create a better life for themselves.
Job Placement is one of the most important of the Services that we provide to Our Graduates. We believe it is essential that they enter the workplace directly after graduation so that they may start to build the necessary skills for a career later in life.
We currently have 3 Graduates working as a result of of our Job Placement program. Martina, who graduated in 2015, is currently working at the Acapulco Princess Hotel. She is an intern with the administration office. Martina said "It was the discipline and the focus on education that prepared me the most for this job." She is currently studying English and hopes to enter college this fall to study International Relations.
In addition, Felicitas and her sister Cira, pictured above, also work in the tourism industry at Hotel La Palapa in Acapulco's "Zona Dorado".
