A Marsh Ambassador™ is a person who is actively involved in promoting The Marsh Children's Home and striving to enrich the lives of the children at this incredible institution.

There are a myriad of ways you can help the children. Marsh Ambassadors help us with Social Media promotion - with a "Like Us" link on their Facebook page, a "Tweet" about our Special Projects on Twitter, uploading Photos onto their Google Photos, SmugMug and Flickr pages. "Pin" a link to the Marsh Children's Home on Pinterest. Write articles promoting the Marsh Home on Tumblr. "Blog" about the Marsh Home on Blogspot or Blogger.com.

"LinkIN" to the Marsh Children's Home official page on LinkedIN.com. "Instagram" your favorite photos of the Marsh Home. Check out our videos on YouTube and Vimeo.

While we do accept donated goods, at this time we cannot accept items donated from the United States, or from outside of Mexico.

Recent changes in Mexican Customs Laws defining what specific items are allowed to be shipped to Mexico; and, the Taxes we would need to pay for the Donated Items shipped to the Marsh Children's Home, simply make it cost-prohibitive to send items from outside of Mexico.

The BEST OPTION, for those who are already planning a visit to Acapulco, is simply to bring the items with you. If you'd like to bring donated items for the kids, please contact Jovita Godinez directly and ask her what items are most needed at the time. Presented on this website for easy viewing for all you Smartphone and Tablet users, you can also see this incredible collection of photos in our Marsh Home Scrapbook. "Flip through" the Scrapbook on your computer or tablet. Download it and share it with friends and family.

If you have any photos of the Marsh Home we can't wait to see them. You may also share photos of yourself Collecting Donations, performing various Fundraising Activities for the Marsh Home, or Social Media Promotion as a Marsh Ambassador™. If you are a member of a professional institution, such as a hospital or medical center, we would LOVE to hear from you. In the past, we have had visits from doctors (and nurses) and dentists, both from large hospitals and small practices alike.

If you are planning a vacation in Acapulco and would like to volunteer / visit the Marsh Children's Home, please contact us. We will gladly accept donations of services such as medical and dental, computer classes, English classes...

If you're still "Old-School", hey, we understand. You can simply drop a check in the mail (USPS) for whatever amount you would like to Donate - made out to "Marsh Children's Home Acapulco Inc.". Robin Blackwood, Treasurer of the U.S. 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation, will promptly deposit your kind Donation into our U.S. bank account. For Child Sponsorship, we recommend a monthly Donation of $30 USD, or you can make an annual Donation for $300 USD.

Your Donation will then be immediately sent to Jovita in Acapulco so that she may buy food, clothing, school-supplies for the Children and add to our general fund for paying monthly expenses such as electricity, water, gasoline for our truck and bus and propane for cooking.
